Hello, World!

I’m a programmer based in New Delhi, India. I specialize in machine learning, building data-driven products and the tooling around them. I currently work at Aftershoot, where I lead the MLOps effort. My research interests are in signal processing, machine learning and computational harmonic analysis. I’m obsessed with applications of machine learning and statistics in day-to-day data and problems.

I write about the craft of coding, machine learning, statistics, book reviews and dogs and video games and philosophy. Look at my blog tags; you might find something interesting. If you like it, write to me at deshpande.jaidev@gmail.com. (Write to me even if you don’t like it)

For something random, check out my linkpost feed at Scattered Sparks.

Separate from my writing here, I write a newsletter called Being Bayesian, which is about debunking (and sometimes holding) outrageous opinions in tech, culture and economics.
